College Scholarships

Carbon Free Zone, Inc. one of the largest traders of carbon credits on the CTX – International Carbon Exchange, is pleased to offer hard-working students of any age, a scholarship two times per year; For both the Spring Semester and Fall Semester we will be giving a deserving student a scholarship of $1,000 to further their education in whatever major they may be pursuing.

Eligibility

Applicants should be currently enrolled or have been accepted to enroll in an accredited college or university in the U.S. Applicants should also maintain a good grade point average and include a copy of their transcript along with their completed application using our online form.

Deadline

All submissions will be reviewed, and a recipient selected. The next scholarship deadline is July 15^th, 2023.

Scholarship Payment

Payment will be made directly to your school’s financial aid office via check to be credited to any scholastically related fees. Your school’s financial aid website will typically show their preferred address for outside scholarship providers. However, you should also be able to find this information at the front desk.

Essay Considerations

Please author an essay about the following subject: Climate change is impacting all of us in dramatic ways. If you had to list the top 5 things the average person can do right now to help solve the climate crisis, what would they be and what do you think our collective results would bring? The essay should be between 800-1500 words in length.

Applicants are accepted from any accredited college or university.
Students should have a good grade point average.
CFZ will consider all applications received.
The winner holds all rights to their essay, but we reserve the right to include it in our announcement of the winning student. The applicant’s details on our internal server will be deleted after the deadline has passed.

Privacy

We will not market, share, or publicly supply any personal data you provide with your scholarship application. All personal data that you tender will be used entirely for scholarship selection.
